Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of content do you produce?

On my YouTube channel, I largely produce gaming-style content. Most often, I will play a game with friends, and give commentary related to the game as well as jokes and personal anecdotes. As of writing, the game I play most frequently is Minecraft (including custom-made challenges and other self-produced game content), and I also enjoy playing Phasmophobia and Dead by Daylight in my spare time.

Above all else, creation is why I want to exist, and I feel at my best when I'm showcasing my own things such as my video games, or other projects built within a pre-existing medium. In a best-case scenario, I would be posting a lot of these projects; I do have ADHD though, and that should suffice as an explanation to why I can barely put up low-effort Let's Plays most weeks.

My life's goal is to develop my skillset to such a point that I can say, "I want to make <x>", and be capable of making it without help. One part of that is video editing, and hey, I'm about there.

What is your upload schedule?

If I had my way, I would be able to produce videos every week. However, I don't get a say in what I'm interested in or focusing on at any given time, so I can go a long time without making videos. Rest assured that as of April 2022 I am alive.

Currently, the system I'm running with is that I can upload at my leisure, but if I have multiple uploads I want to do at once, then I must wait a minimum of five days between uploads.

Where do you get your channel's music?

Picking out music is fun, because I have some issues with sensory processing, so music frequently gives me a headache, overwhelms and drowns out my other emotions and senses, and makes me feel nauseous. Unfortunately, music also helps keep a video interesting, so I include it just for the viewers.

Most of the music you hear in the background of my videos is randomly generated with a program called cgMusic.

The melody that plays at the end of my videos is itsMiatch's theme, a slightly out-of-tune message of farewell created specifically for use on the channel. One day, I hope to remix it, but first I have to learn to produce my own music.

Alternatively, I may use music relating to the subject of my video, or borrow from the YouTube Audio Library. Sometimes I use video game music, too.
