Now that I'm making and releasing all of my little projects, I wanted to have a way for them to be visible. Sure, I can easily not tell anyone and enjoy the comfort of not being known, but I also made these things so somebody better play 'em.
Five Minutes in Minecraft was put out onto the Curse platform, where it presently has over 475 downloads as of writing. When I went to release my Perry Datapack there, they seemingly had no space for it, so I elected to just add a direct download link in my blog.
But I wanted more. Probably. That's what my actions suggest, I dunno about my intentions.
Planet Minecraft has been around for a long time. It and the Minecraft forums were both a staple in the game's community, allowing discussions and submissions and promoting the creative value of Minecraft players everywhere.
In the present day, PMC is looking just a tad worse for fear but they've still got it down. Also they let you host datapacks! Woo! It turns out that I have an account on it, and I have no idea when I did that, but there you go.
Now that I'm on the platform (link) I plan to use it to promote my Minecraft-related projects a little more, alongside Curse and this blog. Hopefully after I get Minecraft Mania out of my system I can go back to making more obscure blog posts about creations I'm less sure about...or just not posting at all.
